The project "Stable family - strong country" aims to strengthen the capacity of communities by organizing systematic and continuous psychosocial support of military personnel, veterans, as well as their family members. To form standards of quality provision of services to families of servicemen and veterans. To contribute to the creation of preventive measures in communities to combat domestic violence in wartime. To prevent emotional burnout among specialists of helping professions by strengthening competence and awareness in the topics of family counseling.
The following tasks are planned to be implemented within 6 months:
- developed methodological guide on the features of pair counseling for families of military personnel and veterans "Communication across distance";
- 2 trainings were held on the specifics of pair counseling for families of military personnel and veterans for 35 civilian and 10 military psychologists;
- 85 pair consultations were provided to families of military personnel and veterans;
- 26 hours of supervisory support for psychologists were provided;
- 2 support groups were held under the program "5 Steps to Resilience. For Those Who Wait" for 23 wives/partners of military personnel;
- 52 individual psychological consultations were provided;
- held research into the effectiveness of training on the specifics of pair counseling for families of military personnel and veterans.
