General guidelines for trauma-informed communication – a methodological brochure for veteran support professionals, which can be used during training and educational events, as well as as a practical reference material. The publication contains basic information about the impact of traumatic experiences on communication, reveals the essence of the trauma-informed approach and presents in detail its six key principles with practical examples of application in self-support and work with beneficiaries. In addition, the brochure contains useful links to supporting materials, including a referral algorithm, posters, brochures and checklists for supporting families.
