The "Yarmiz" Center started a series of group meetings of graduates of Taras Shevchenko KNU, officer-psychologists with specialists in the field of military psychology.
The main purpose of the meetings is the formation and development of graduates' practical skills in psychological counseling during the war.
In a closed format, graduates have the opportunity to talk about their own difficult cases that they have encountered, cases that require the advice of a more experienced specialist.
The first meeting was devoted to organizational matters, discussion of the peculiarities and specifics of the group's work, aspects of confidentiality.
One of the participants even managed to talk about a difficult case for him. The group actively participated, asked and answered questions, and offered their work options. At the end, the person who came with the request felt supported, and most importantly - received recommendations that can be ways of deciding where to move in their work.
Professional support is important for young professionals - it will make their work effective and, at the same time, help reduce burnout in the profession. After all, officer graduates work with people who are in combat areas, and their task is to help soldiers maintain morale, psychological stability and combat readiness.
