The project "The right to be happy" is another small stone for the sustainability of communities, which we are building together with the European Union

She noted that the IMF has been working in Ukraine for 30 years and is active throughout the country in various areas: education, health, legal aid, integration into the EU.
"After February 24, all our resources go to strengthening our state, countering the enemy, reconstruction. In partnership with the EU, we organized a competition to support volunteer and veteran organizations, spaces such as "YARMIZ", Olha Galchenko told the audience. - I am very happy that YARMIZ won this competition, one of the 20 winners, which has the opportunity to organize this program, which is already underway. I am very glad that people came, I really want this project to be successful. And the key to this success is you, your presence and your involvement."
The representative of the donor wished successful and productive work in the project and expressed hope for its development in the future: "We intend to continue the work of such a plan - to help people recover and strengthen themselves. We now talk a lot about resilience, that is, the resilience of both communities and people, in fact the entire state. Such a project is another small stone for this stability, which we are building together with the European Union, together with other donors, so good luck to you!".
During the first general meeting of the participants, Svitlana Boyko, head of the "Right to be happy" project, recommended the project team and introduced the current activities of the YARMIZ Center and its history.
Trainer Olha Pletka spoke in more detail about her author's programs, which form the basis of the Project: the complex of programs "Children of Ukraine" and the corrective and restorative program "I know myself and the world around me" (for teenagers aged 13-15), the educational and restorative program for adults "In the arms of life".
After that, Olga Pletka introduced the families to the trained specialists of the project, who will work directly with the families during the next two months.
After getting to know each other, everyone shared their expectations from the project, which were written on stickers and attached to the tree symbol of the Project. Victory, family harmony, feel the future, be surprised, healing, rejoice every day, understand emotions, get to know yourself, become more confident, rest and relax, become happy, stop being afraid - these and other wishes in the form of leaves made up the crown of a mighty tree, a symbol of the "Right to be happy" project. We believe that the project participants will be able to realize their wishes. After all, in order to achieve what you want, you need to act, and the participating families have already taken the first step.
Then there were familiarization games, and "soft helpers" - toys - helped to create a friendly, homely atmosphere. The participants shared their impressions, watched the experts and made plans for the next meetings.
