Cultural and psychological competence of a psychologist accompanying military personnel

The project "Cultural and Psychological Competence of a Psychologist in Accompanying Military Personnel" is dedicated to the training of psychologists (military and civilian), providing them with systematic theoretical and practical training to accompany military personnel, and conducting practical activities aimed at preserving the mental health of military personnel.

The program includes:

– theoretical and practical training course;

- interview groups dedicated to discussing the specifics of psychoeducation of the military, psychological first aid techniques, stabilization and motivational techniques, techniques of working with fakes and recognizing IPSOs, techniques of self-care and prevention of mental trauma.

- individual consultations for servicemen and their families.

 

More than 50 psychologists and moral and psychological support deputies attended the course modules.

The project was implemented with the support of the Representative Office of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Ukraine.
