Changes in the work of the Center

Dear friends, we have some news!
In March of this year, Maryna Syrytsa, who has been a member of the YARMIZ Center team since its foundation, was appointed director of the Center.
Maryna Syrytsia is a highly qualified psychologist and psychotherapist, trainer and author of programs for military personnel and their family members.
She studied cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy at the Kyiv Institute of Modern Psychology and Psychotherapy (KISPP), emotionally-focused psychotherapy and EMDR, master's degree in psychology. She works as a teacher at the Military Institute of KNU named after Taras Shevchenko.
She has experience working with veterans and their families since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The second news is that from now on, YARMIZ is deepening its work specifically in the field of psychological support and psychotherapy for veterans, active military personnel, couples where one or both partners are in military service, as well as military families.
Everyone who has the honor of defending Ukraine from Russian invaders goes through a special path. This is the path of dignity and courage. It is a unique life choice when your soul says yes to challenges and adversity to grow and become stronger in these battles.
But everyone has moments along the way when difficult circumstances seem to exceed our ability to hold on. Everyone falls into this "dark night of the soul" when meaning and direction are lost. Often this becomes the most difficult test. It is at these moments that the specialists of the Center will become that saving ray of light, that light ahead, that companion who will light the way and provide a shoulder on a difficult transition. We unquestionably believe that everyone has the strength to overcome all difficulties. But sometimes it is not necessary to do it alone.
Thank you for staying with us!
