ANALYTICAL REPORT
Needs of families of persons missing under special circumstances: research results
The full-scale war in Ukraine has left thousands of families living in a state of prolonged uncertainty, not knowing the fate of their loved ones. This experience is different from experiencing death or other forms of loss. It combines hope, fear, exhaustion, and a constant wait for answers.
That is why there is a need to better understand what difficulties families of persons missing under special circumstances face every day, what needs remain unmet, and what they see as an effective support system.
This study is designed not only to present statistical data, but also to provide an opportunity to hear the voices of the families themselves.
