As paradoxical as it may sound, relatives and friends should reduce the hyperopia of a blind person - it is better to help him express himself and become independent! This elementary advice is difficult to apply, but I assure you that its implementation will determine the fulfillment of your life.
Sometimes relatives underestimate the capabilities of a blind person: they try to protect him from all kinds of household chores, taking all the trouble upon himself. Give the blind an opportunity to express themselves. Practical skills of blind people are formed during the active work of the brain - through thinking, attention and memory. Adaptation of the blind to the world and lifestyle of the sighted is possible only when there is understanding and help from others between them, which promotes independence and freedom.
