Project "Inclusive society in Ukraine. "Handbook of practical recommendations" was implemented by the "Yarmiz" Center with the support of the European Union and the "Renaissance" International Foundation within the framework of the "EU4USociety" joint initiative.
The purpose of the project: promotion of social and domestic adaptation and social and environmental orientation of people with disabilities from among the Defenders, as well as civilians who suffered from the war, through the creation and distribution of informational and educational products with the involvement of specialists in the field of inclusive development. To contribute to the formation of an inclusive culture in society, development of inclusive behavior of citizens of Ukraine.
Within the framework of the project, two Handbook books were created, which contain practical advice and instructions verified by experts' own experience for people who received disabilities as a result of the war: limb amputations, visual and hearing impairments, advice to family members. The books also contain psychologist's advice, an algorithm for obtaining the status of a person with a disability due to war, useful contacts and QR codes for educational and motivational videos.
