YARMIZ Center announces recruitment for a psychological support group for women who are waiting for loved ones from the war.
The group will work ONLINE and will start on July 27, 2024.
Join if you:
– you experience difficulties and misunderstandings in communication with your partner who is in military service;
- you feel that you are moving away from your loved one emotionally;
- you want to support your partner, but you are not sure how to do it in the best way;
- you want to get rid of the feeling of loneliness, abandonment, as if you were left alone with problems that were previously solved together;
- you can't calm the constant anxiety about your loved one and the future of your couple.
At group meetings in a circle of like-minded people and accompanied by qualified psychologists, you will:
– learn to develop your stability, resilience (flexibility), how to cope with emotions and stabilize your own states;
– you will learn how to maintain relationships in wartime and develop them at a distance;
– you will learn to understand and accept changes in a couple and a partner, develop the skill to support him, without destroying yourself at the same time;
Here you will share your experiences with those who will definitely understand you. Sometimes even just realizing that you are not alone on this path, speaking out and being heard is already a relief.
– Duration – 1.5-2 hours. The group will work for two months (8 meetings, 1 time per week).
