\n\ud83e\udef6It is important not to let it destroy our lives - relationships and families, our unity and sense of community.
\nIn order to strengthen and "train resilience" in relationships, the program "5 steps of fostering resilience in couples" was created by psychologists Mariya Oliynyk and Maryna Syrytsia.
\n\ud83d\udcdaThe program is designed to strengthen relations at a distance, taking into account all the challenges of war that exist now. During training, the participants, together with the trainers, analyzed the situations that can occur in families and found the best support for them.
\n\ud83e\udd1d From July 7 to 9 at the Yarmiz Training Center, as part of the project "Formation of a system of psychological support for defenders and their families as a guarantee of community stability", which is being implemented with the support of the European Union in Ukraine and the International Renaissance Foundation as part of a joint initiative "European Renaissance of Ukraine", 19 professional psychologists learned to lead psychological support groups for wives who are waiting for their loved ones from the war.
\n\ud83d\udc69\u200d\ud83d\udcbbAll the participants showed interest and were included in the work, because a large part of them are women who are waiting for their partners from the war. The words and recommendations of the program resonated with their relevance and part of the solutions for women who are waiting.
\nIn addition to training, women discussed life situations and the challenges of war, jointly sought solutions, trained new techniques and skills in group work.
\nThe authors of the program are convinced that the groups with which psychologists will work will be very lucky - they will be able to support group members, form new understandings of closeness and strengthen relationships even despite all the difficulties of the war.
