Innovative methods of learning foreign languages karaoke-chant;<\/li>\n<li>\u25cf promoting cohesion between veterans and society and intercultural understanding, public demonstration of the importance of the role of the veterans' community on the way of European integration of Ukraine through the launch of the Veterans Festival.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The project was successful, the results were achieved completely and quantitatively exceeded.<\/p>\n<p>32 Elementary (A1) English courses were completed and successfully passed by 10 veterans and family members. <em><strong>32 lessons of the Elementary English course (A1)<\/strong><\/em> passed and successfully mastered.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ukrainian language course (32 lessons)<\/strong><\/em> 14 veterans and family members successfully completed the Ukrainian language course (32 lessons) against the expected number of 12 people.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>A series of karaoke-chant classes (32 classes)<\/strong><\/em> A series of karaoke-chant classes (32 classes) and vocal and rhythmics classes (32 classes) were attended by 25 veterans and family members against the expected 25 people.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>6 lectures on European ethnology<\/strong><\/em> A total of 96 veterans and family members attended the 6 lectures on European ethnology against the expected 30. Guests had the opportunity to sing songs in English, Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar by song catalogs.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Speakers at the festival opening:<\/strong><\/em> Eugenia Gubska, Director of the YARMIZ Center, Olga Galchenko, Coordinator of the Human Rights and Justice Program of the International Renaissance Foundation, Olga Galchenko, Representative of the Ministry of Veterans' Affairs of Ukraine Secretariat of the Society for Relations with Ukrainians Outside Ukraine \u00abUkraine-World\u00bb Kendzera Alla Yevheniivna; the veteran ensemble YARMIZ and representatives of Ukrainian diasporas from Poland, Turkey, Latvia, Spain, Estonia took part in the singing teleconference; 10 veterans and family members took part in a demonstration of traditional Ukrainian costumes from the private collection of Valeria Levkivska, a member of the Secretariat of the Society for Relations with Ukrainians Abroad Ukraine-World, head of the Ethnosection, ethnographer and masters of authentic Ukrainian hats.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The festival guests<\/strong><\/em> tasted traditional Ukrainian, Georgian and Crimean Tatar cuisines. They not only tasted buckwheat porridge, but also joined cooking at master class by Elena Shcherban \u2013 Doctor of History, ethnologist, leading popularizer of Ukrainian traditional food culture, founders of the EthnoEducational Center \u2013 EthnoFamilyTrimuseum \"Lyalina Svitlytsia\" in Opishnya, Poltava region. Guests also participated in cooking cookies decorated with Ukrainian ornaments.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Participants of the final concert:<\/strong><\/em> Yarmiz veteran\u2019s ensemble, Honored Artist of Ukraine veteran Tetyana Kyslyak, vocal and choreographic ensemble of the Crimean Tatar Cultural Center \u00abCrimean Family\u00bb, Khrystyna Panasyuk \u2013 singer, volunteer, Danytsia Bonostyova Veteran Ensemble \u00abKobzar\u00bb, Dmytro Linartovych \u2013 singer, bard, volunteer, Anjo da muzica (Victoria Zadvorna) \u2013 winner of international competitions, concert vocalist, soloist of theaters: teatro Bradesko, teatro Pedro 2, Teatro Munizipal Francalo, Solo ), \u00abKrutyi Zamis\u00bb \u2013 a band from the Cold Yar, Cossack folk-rock, Anna Mak \u2013 rock and original songs singer.<\/p>\n<p>A video about the Festival was created, as well as 6 interviews about the participants and their businesses.<\/p>\n<p>The project was covered on the Facebook and Instagram pages of the YARMIZ Center, the YARMIZ Center website and a separate Facebook page of the Dialog Language Center. Studying the languages, traditions, and histories of different peoples will improve the intercultural competencies of the center's visitors.<\/p>\n<p>The experience gained from involving the public in charitable support of the project will be used to further fund the activities of the veterans' language center.<\/p>\n<p>Involving representatives of various educational and cultural institutions and partner NGOs in teaching educational courses, art master classes, the Dialogue Center unites the experience and knowledge of the best specialists in various fields in creating non-formal education programs and disseminating experience to other similar centers and regions. Innovative methods of learning languages karaoke-chant will be replicated in other institutions.<\/p>\n<p>The festival will be a traditional annual demonstration of the role of the veterans' community in promoting pro-European values and principles in Ukrainian society, will promote culture, crafts, traditions and support the cultural heritage of each nation, build bridges of understanding between different segments of society.<\/p>\n<p>Many visitors to the Dialogue Center and the YARMIZ Flower Festival are currently defending Ukraine from the aggressor.
