The recruitment of families with teenage children (13-15 years old) into the psychosocial support project "The right to be happy<\/a>", Kyiv city. The psychosocial support program was created for families who suffered as a result of the war and need attention and professional support. A psychologist tells how the program for helping parents and children works\u00a0Olga Pletka<\/a>\u00a0- candidate of psychological sciences, senior researcher at the Institute of Social and Political Psychology.<\/p>\n

We are currently inviting families with teenagers aged 13-15 who have suffered from the horrors of war. In the project "The right to be happy<\/a>\u201d we work with parents and children. For parents, we will reveal what happens to a person during stress and what to do about it. We learn how the stress of age is superimposed on the stress of war and how to help a child recover to live in this reality.<\/p>\n

Stress can build up gradually and we may not notice it. Often our body cannot withstand the load and numerous diseases appear. Only after relaxing do we understand how tense we were. Systemic prevention and cleaning of your body is recommended here. Therefore, this project is for people who do not understand what is happening, but feel that they need support and help.<\/p>\n

A very serious event is going on in the country, a war that traumatizes the psyche. If you see that the child is dissociated, sleeps poorly, or is in a stupor, trembling limbs, panic attacks from information from the front - this is a clear signal that you need to take care of yourself and the child. The goal of our classes is to return yourself to a normal state through practice. This is social support and support so that a person can realize and start taking steps for recovery. The first class will be held on July 15, and the course will last until August 29.<\/p>\n
