Its team is formed by family members of defenders and experienced psychologists who have been working with the target audience since 2014.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #282828;\">In the early years, YARMIS&#039;s activities developed actively: with the support of partners and volunteers, the team organized sports and cultural events, language courses, business trainings, children&#039;s holidays, support groups, and art therapy activities. All of this became the foundation for the formation of our community and the acquisition of valuable experience.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #282828;\">In 2021, YARMIS joined the Coalition of Veteran Spaces. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #282828;\">With the onset of a full-scale invasion, part of the team and visitors to the space stood up to defend Ukraine. At the same time, we launched humanitarian activities and focused on training and improving the skills of psychologists.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #282828;\">In 2024, YARMIS renewed its activities, focusing on psychosocial support for defenders and their families.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h3><strong>Our activities\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Psychological support for defenders and their families<\/strong>: individual and couple counseling, psycho-emotional relief groups and peer-to-peer training for defenders, support groups for female partners of military personnel.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Training for specialists<\/strong>: trainings, webinars, supervisions, interviews and burnout prevention groups for military, civilian psychologists and first-line specialists in the state, public and business sectors.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Information and methodological support<\/strong>: manuals, methodological recommendations, programs and other information products for psychological support of defenders.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Research and analytics<\/strong>: monitoring and analysis of the needs and requests of defenders and their families, research and adaptation of the best global practices of psychological support in our field.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Strategic level and partnerships<\/strong>: participation in the development and implementation of systemic solutions and state policies in the field of MH PSS through a system of sustainable partnerships with state bodies, military structures, the public sector, the media, and representatives of socially responsible business.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #282828;\">YARMIS works with a family-centered and salutogenic approach: programs are aimed at strengthening relationships within and outside the family as one of the key resources for overcoming difficult experiences and facilitating the adaptation of defenders in everyday life outside of service. The center focuses on developing internal strengths, supporting the senses, and strengthening the psychosocial well-being of the country.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<!-- start History
